Meeting of representatives of the Ministry of National Defense of Lithuania and the Lithuanian Defense Industry

November 16 The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Lithuania organizes a meeting with the Lithuanian defense industry. For the third time, a similar event will provide an opportunity for Lithuanian industry and representatives of the Ministry of National Defense to share information about the priorities of the National Defense System, planned procurement, discuss possible cooperation. During the event, the Deputy Minister of the Interior Giedrimas Jeglinskas is scheduled to present the reform of the Ministry of National Defense and in 2018. the Defense Resources Agency, which is due to start operating, which should eventually become responsible for all acquisitions of the National Defense System. Also, the departments responsible for Ministry of National Defense  will present acquisition plans and key projects in the areas of armaments, infrastructure and material provision.
