The conference and industrial exhibition “Innovative Energy Solutions for Military Applications” (IESMA 2018)

IESMA 2018 is a bi-anual event that aims to enable the information exchange on best practices and technologies for advancing energy efficiency in the military. It brings together numerous experts from military, industry and academia and creates a platform to present the expertise, discuss lessons learned.
IESMA 2018 helps to accelerate: the transfer of innovative energy technologies from the civilian to the military sector; the implementation of standard technologies in the field; and the adaptation of cutting edge technologies for practical use in the military, striving to improve the operational capability of military forces, enhancing range, endurance and agility in the current and future security environment where logistics may be constrained.
This event is carried out by the NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence in cooperation with State Military Scientific Technical Center “DELTA” of the Ministry of Defence of Georgia.
In order to emphasize the interest in the transfer of innovative civilian energy solutions to the military, the NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence will honor the most influential solution with a specially designed award. More information on this matter will be provided in the upcoming months.
